SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
The rain held off for run 2 and conditions were good for running, however turnout was lower than for run 1. Three teams broke the 100-point mark, Macquarie Generals with 155, Reserve Bank Magic Milers with 111, and Domain Dashers with 105.  The total points scored in run 2 was 2087.

Conditions were cooler and drier than expected for the first run of the series, with a respectable turnout of runners. Four teams broke the 100-point mark and the total points scored in run 1 was 2001.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
There was only one high scoring match in the knockout, where both teams earned 100 or more points. Macquarie Nomads beat State Treasury 114 / 101. Apra Running Regulators and IHACPA Activity Based Runners achieved a 12 all draw and both teams will progress to the second round.

Congratulations to Legal Eagles, who had the best turnout in run 1 with a perfect 15. They were followed by Domain Dashers with 14 and then a 5-way tie on 13. The total turnout was 397 counting runners, 284 males and 113 females. This is the highest number of females for a very long time.

Series #104 – Run 6 – 18 October 2023 – Run No. 624

GENERAL BUSINESS

The presentation for series 104 will be held in the Domain on Wednesday, 1st November, at 12:30pm. Team Captains with trophies from last series should arrange handing back the trophies for engraving and presentation to the series 104 winners.

SPECIAL MENTION
Amy Cheung from Transport Trainers broke the existing record for the Most Consecutive Runs – All Time (Female) by achieving 47 runs. She replaces Caroline Yarnell from Legal Eagles, who held the previous record with 46 consecutive runs. Amy now holds the two Top Ten Female titles of Most Consecutive Runs – Current Streak and Most Consecutive Runs – All Time.

Well done Amy and congratulations on your great achievement.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
Conditions were good for run 6, and turnout was slightly up on the previous run, being the 4th highest of the series. Nine teams broke the 100-point mark, led by State Treasury with 212, the highest score of the series. They were followed by Reserve Bank Magic Milers with 188, Macquarie Nomads with 181, Transport Trainers with 132, Sydney Tax Pack with 126, Commonwealth Bank Harriers 1 with 120, Legal Eagles with 115, The Running Walkers with 114, and Reserve Bank Midday Milers with 113.

Macquarie Nomads take out the overall win, by a margin of 34 points from State Treasury.  The total points scored in run 6 was 2,939.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
State Treasury took out the knockout trophy, beating Macquarie Nomads 212-181, while Reserve Bank Magic Milers beat Westpac Trotters 188-61 in the playoff for third place.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
Reserve Bank Magic Milers top scored with 9 points, ahead of Legal Eagles with 7 and Telstra Tornados, Australian Museum Runosaurs, The Running Walkers and GrainCorp Weevils, all with 3.  Reserve Bank Magic Milers retain the overall title by a wide margin.

CC AMATIL MOST IMPROVED TEAM
This competition ranks each team’s improvement in three areas over the last two series – point score, team representation and fast runs. As this is an encouragement award for teams who would not otherwise figure in the prize-giving, teams who win one of the other competitions are excluded from winning it.

The Most Improved Team Trophy for series 104 is won by Team UBS.

Weather conditions were hotter than expected for run 5 but turnout was slightly up on the previous run. Four teams broke 100 points this time, led by State Treasury with 170, followed by Macquarie Nomads, with 163, Sydney Tax Pack, with 107, and Reserve Bank Magic Milers with 103. State Treasury’s points, the highest score so far this series saw them move up to second place in the top 3.

Five teams broke 100 points, led by DEITies with 143, followed by Macquarie Nomads and Reserve Bank Magic Milers, both with 129, and State Treasury with 105, and Commonwealth Bank Harriers 1 with 104. These scores, however, did not change the top 3.
