GENERAL BUSINESS
The presentation for series 89 will be held in the Domain on Wednesday 8th November at 12:30pm. Team Captains with trophies from last series should arrange handing back of the trophies for engraving and presentation to the series 89 winners.
SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
With a mixture of warm conditions in sheltered spots and blustery breezes in exposed ones, point scoring only reached moderate levels in run 6. Five teams broke the 100 point mark, led by Apra Running Regulators and King & Wood Mallesons, who both scored 141 points, and Reserve Bank Midday Milers, who scored 124 points. Apra hung on to their overall lead and take out the point score trophy, while King & Wood Mallesons moved past a depleted ABS Moving Averages into second place. The total points scored in run 6 was 2,621.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
Apra Running Regulators and King & Wood Mallesons met in the final of the knockout, with the result being a 141-all draw and a shared trophy! Rabobank Grasshoppers took out third place, beating Telstra Tornados 87-55.
FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
Legal Eagles put in an even more dominant performance in run 6, with 12 fast runs. The next best teams, Reserve Bank Magic Milers and NRMA Insurance, could again both muster only 5, leaving Legal Eagles as runaway winners of the overall competition.

Dima POSTNIKOV of BT Dominators was the fastest man with 22.05 and Eliza DAVIDSON of Macquarie Nomads was fastest woman with 23.05, nearly three minutes ahead of the field. There were 67 fast runners in run 6, 47 males (15%) and 20 females (19%).

THE MAT GARROD MEMORIAL TEAM REPRESENTATION TROPHY
Congratulations to BT Dominators, who had the only full turnout of 15 runners in run 6. They were followed by Legal Eagles and Rabobank Grasshoppers with 14. BT Dominators took out the overall competition with an impressive total of 83 runs out of a possible 90. The total turnout in run 6 was 418 counting runners, 311 males and 107 females.

GARRY GOULD MEMORIAL TROPHY
The Garry Gould Memorial Trophy for the top point scorer in series 89 was won by Sinead McLAUGHLIN of State Treasury who scored 149 points.
RON COOMBS MEMORIAL TROPHY
The Ron Coombs Memorial Trophy for the top point scorer of the opposite sex to the winner of the Garry Gould Memorial Trophy was won by Andrew MAPLE-BROWN of MBA Yield Chasers who scored 140 points.
CC AMATIL MOST IMPROVED TEAM
This competition ranks each team’s improvement in three areas over the last two series – point score, team representation and fast runs. As this is an encouragement award for teams who would not otherwise figure in the prize-giving, teams who win one of the other competitions are excluded from winning it.
The Most Improved Team Trophy for series 89 was won by Macquarie Nomads.
