GENERAL BUSINESS
First, congratulations to Chris Horne from the Macquarie Nomads for completing 400 runs in run 5. This accomplishment represents a significant milestone and demonstrates remarkable dedication worthy of recognition.

Also, please note there is a 3-week gap to run 6 which occurs on the 5th of November.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY

As the year progresses, temperatures continue to rise, with the fifth run held under sunny and notably warmer conditions. However, as always, a good day for a run.  Turnout for run 5 was 370 runners, again slightly down on the previous run with only 4 teams scoring over 100 points, with Macquarie Generals again top scoring with a high score for the series so far:

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY

There was only one high scoring contest this round, where Macquarie Generals defeated Westpac Harriers 193-121, while in the other match Westpac Trotters defeated Sydney Tax Pack 120-70.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
Reserve Bank Magic Milers top scored with 9 points, followed by Legal Eagles with 5 points and Australian Museum Runosaurs on 4 points.

Matt GIBSON, of Reserve Bank Magic Milers, was the fastest man with a time of 21.30, and Avital ZHARIA of BT Dominators was, for the first time, the fastest woman with 25.45.  There were 37 fast runners in run 5, 30 males (11%) and 7 females (8%).

Despite the overall lower turnout, 7 teams scored quite highly.

Best turnout in run 5 goes to Reserve Bank Magic Milers and Legal Eagles on 14 points, with Macquarie Nomads and Reserve Bank Midday Milers following on 13 points. This has shaken up the top 3 resulting in a tight competition for run 6.
