Series 110 run 4 newsletter

Series #110 – Run 4 – 1 October 2025 – Run No. 658

GENERAL BUSINESS
Just a couple of general reminders to keep in mind.

  1. Running on the Road

Running on the road is only permitted crossing the small side road immediately beyond the expressway bridge. At all other points, running on the road is expressly prohibited. Should you encounter congestion on the footpath, please reduce your pace and pass safely; do not use the road as an alternative route. Adherence to this guideline is required as part of our agreement with the RBG, and any violation may jeopardise the continuation of our event.

  1. Hazardous Areas on the Course

When returning around Mrs Macquarie’s Point, please be aware of a tree root that has slightly raised the tarmac, creating a potential trip hazard. While many runners proceed without incident, there have been reports of stumbles and occasional falls, so extra caution is advised.

Additionally, exercise care on the steps descending from the middle path to Mrs Macquarie’s Point. These steps vary in tread and depth, and there have been serious falls in previous series. Please navigate these areas with particular attention.

Following the release of the run 3 results, we were advised that one of the runners for Australian Museum Runosaurs had issues and did not complete the full course.  The results were recalculated with the effect that Reserve Bank Midday Milers won their match in the Knockout and proceeded to round 4.  There were no other significant changes to the results.

There was only one high scoring contest this round, which had very high scores.
