Turnout for run 6 was up on run 5 but the second lowest of the series. Ten teams broke the 100-point mark. Macquarie Nomads take out the overall win, with a margin of 13 points. The total points scored in run 6 was 3,379.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
Domain Dashers took out the knockout trophy, beating Deloitte Merger Milers, 182 – 90. Policy on the Run beat ABS Moving Averages, 122 – 44 in the playoff for third and fourth places.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
Reserve Bank Magic Milers top scored with 9 points, followed by a three-way tie between Telstra Tornados, Domain Dashers and Australian Museum Runosaurs on 5. Reserve Bank Magic Milers also took out top position for the series.

Matt GIBSON and Callan WINDSOR, both of Reserve Bank Magic Milers, were the fastest men with a time of 21.15, and Eliza DAVIDSON of Macquarie Nomads was the fastest woman with 23:00. There were 59 fast runners in run 6, 45 males (16%) and 14 females (16%).

Best turnout in run 6 goes to Domain Dashers with a score of 14, followed by Reserve Bank Magic Milers on 13 and Westpac Harriers on 12. The series title goes to Reserve Bank Magic Milers on 81 points, out of a possible 90. The total turnout in run 6 was 375 counting runners, 286 males and 89 females.

The winner of the Ron Coombs Memorial Trophy for the top point scorer of the opposite sex to the winner of the Garry Gould Memorial Trophy is Lisa LOADER of State Library Speed Readers with 134 points.
CC AMATIL MOST IMPROVED TEAM
This competition ranks each team’s improvement in three areas over the last two series – point score, team representation and fast runs. As this is an encouragement award for teams who would not otherwise figure in the prize-giving, teams who win one of the other competitions are excluded from winning it.
