Series #109 – Run 2 – 28 May 2025 – Run No. 650

GENERAL BUSINESS

It has been observed that several runners missed turns and did not follow the designated course. All runners are kindly requested to acquaint themselves with the correct course. Additionally, experienced runners are encouraged to offer guidance to new participants.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
Considering the preceding days, we were fortunate with the weather for run 2. It was warm and sunny, accompanied by some cool breezes. Consequently, attendance reached double figures for 24 teams and 20 teams achieved over 100 points.

Turnout for run 2 was 416 runners, with, as mentioned, 20 teams scoring over 100 points:

Reserve Bank Magic Milers again top scored with 11 points, well in the lead, followed by Legal Eagles with 6 points and Telstra Tornadoes with 5, and no change to the top 3.

Matt GIBSON, of Reserve Bank Magic Milers, was the fastest man with a time of 21.25, and Eliza DAVIDSON, of Macquarie Nomads, the fastest woman with 24.10.  There were 58 fast runners in run 2, 47 males (15%) and 11 females (11%).
