Series #100 – Run 5 – 6 July 2022 – Run No. 599

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
Our luck with the weather ran out in run 5, with persistent rain falling throughout the run.  It was mostly light, with a couple of brief heavier spells, but it was enough to deter many runners and the total score was the lowest of the series by quite a margin.  Reserve Bank Magic Milers had the top score with 79 points, followed by State Treasury with 70 and Macquarie Generals with 66.  The overall top three places remain unchanged and State Treasury now look to have the competition in the bag.  The total points scored in run 5 was 970.

Team Run 1 Run 2 Run 3 Run 4 Run 5 Run 6 Total

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
In the semi-finals State Treasury convincingly beat ABS Moving Averages 70-13 while in a closer match Mercernaries beat Rabobank Grasshoppers 64-47.
In run 6 State Treasury and Mercernaries will meet in the final and ABS Moving Averages and Rabobank Grasshoppers will play off for third place.
