Series #112 – Run 5 – 8 July 2026 – Run No. 671

GENERAL BUSINESS
Congratulations to Laurie Coleman of ABS Moving Averages, who completed his 350th run in run 5.  Laurie is one of the legends who took part in series 1 and is still going strong.  He had a long break from the Cup on family duties, missing series 44 to 86, which makes his achievement even more noteworthy.  He is the 38th person to reach this milestone.  Congratulations also to Clive Fletcher of Commonwealth Bank Harriers 1, who became the 64th person to reach 300 runs.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
Conditions were remarkably good for run 5, with the showers staying away but nice and cool.  There was quite a big drop in attendance, so the total points scored was the lowest of the series.  Only 7 teams reached the 100 point mark, led by Domain Dashers with a massive 202 points.  They were followed by two other big scores: Macquarie Nomads with 180 points and Apra Running Regulators with 165.  Domain Dashers extend their overall lead.  The total points scored in run 5 was 2,893.
