Don’t forget that run 6 is on only one week after run 5, on 18 October 2017.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
An unexpected blockage of our main start/finish straight led to the course being slightly longer than usual for run 5.  This, coupled with the fact that some runners had their runs lengthened by being “trapped” in the enclosure, led to a low scoring day.  Apra Running Regulators were the only team to reach 100 points, top scoring with 103.  They were followed by King & Wood Mallesons on 95 and Macquarie Nomads on 80.  The top three places overall remain unchanged.  The total points scored in run 5 was 1,935.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
Hot and blustery conditions made for difficult running in run 3, and the point scoring absolutely crashed as a result.  No teams managed to reach 100 points, in fact the highest score was 65 points by State Treasury.  They were followed by Legal Eagles on 61 and Telstra Tornados, Rabobank Grasshoppers and Reserve Bank Midday Milers on 60.  With such a low scoring round there were no changes at the top of the table.  The total points scored in run 3 was 1,294.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
All matches in round 3, were low scoring and hence mostly very close.  The closest saw King & Wood Mallesons beat Macquarie Nomads by a single point 57-56 while the most convincing win came from MBA Yield Chasers, who beat ANZ Incredibles 55-9.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
A dominant performance from Legal Eagles, seemingly unfazed by the conditions, saw them top score with 9 in round 3.  The next best effort was a mere 4 from Reserve Bank Magic Milers, followed by 3 from Telstra Tornados.  Legal Eagles are already looking very hard to beat in this competition.
