GENERAL BUSINESS
Congratulations to Phil HAENEY of NRMA Insurance who completed his 300th run, the 49th person to reach this milestone.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
The warmer conditions saw a big drop in the point scoring in run 3, with only 7 teams breaking the 100 points mark.  They were led by Westpac Trotters, who were well clear of the field with 157.  Behind them were Reserve Bank Midday Milers and NRMA Insurance, both on 115, and Legal Eagles on 114.  Westpac Trotters and Legal Eagles have stretched away from the field.  The total points scored in run 3 was 2,963.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
Four of the teams scoring 100+ points were matched against each other in the knockout, with narrow wins to Legal Eagles 114-107 over Apra Running Regulators and Rabobank Grasshoppers 109-101 over Commonwealth Bank Harriers 1.  At the other end of the scale, a very low scoring match saw Reserve Bank Magic Milers beat Mercernaries 43-27.

Legal Eagles continue to dominate with another 11 fast runs, although NRMA Insurance had an improved performance with 9.

Superb running conditions saw a big boost to the point scoring in run 2.  20 teams broke the 100 points mark, led by Legal Eagles with 188.  They were followed by Westpac Trotters with 177 and Rabobank Grasshoppers with 152.  The top two teams have established a slight break on the field.  The total points scored in run 2 was 4,329.

There were several close matches in round 2 of the knockout, with Reserve Bank Midday Milers beating NRMA Insurance 142-138, MYOB Stings beating ANZ Invincibles 91-86 and Commonwealth Bank Harriers 1 beating GrainCorp Weevils 79-73.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
Legal Eagles had another strong run with 11 fast runs and are already streaking off into the distance.  Reserve Bank Magic Milers were next best with 8, followed by NRMA Insurance with 7.

GENERAL BUSINESS
Transport Rolling Stock have changed their name to Transport Trainers.  Congratulations to Colin Armstrong of Reserve Bank Midday Milers who completed his 400th run in run 1, becoming the 15th member of the 400 club.  Congratulations also to Craig Pager of Commonwealth Bank Harriers 1 who completed his 300th run.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
The warm and blustery conditions saw lower point scoring than usual in run 1.  Only 10 teams broke the 100 points mark, with the top score coming from Westpac Trotters with 171.  They were followed by Legal Eagles on 149 and then remarkably three teams who all scored 126 points.  The total points scored in run 1 was 3,036.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
There was a draw in the knockout, with ANZ Invincibles and BT Warriors drawing 45 all, but fortunately they were in the repechage section where both teams go through anyway – the handicapper is very relieved.  There was also very nearly a draw in the knockout section, where King & Wood Mallesons pipped State Audit 41-40.  The handicapper is again very relieved.

Legal Eagles have jumped out to an early lead with 10 fast runs in run 1, followed by NRMA Insurance with 7 and BT Dominators and Reserve Bank Magic Milers both on 5.

GENERAL BUSINESS
Congratulations to Ross Williams of Veterans Affairs, who reached 350 runs in run 6, the 27th runner to do so.

The presentation for series 91 will be held in the Domain on Wednesday 8th August at 12:30pm.  Team Captains with trophies from last series should arrange handing back of the trophies for engraving and presentation to the series 91 winners.

The warmer conditions saw the lowest overall score for the series, by quite a margin, although ten teams still broke the 100 point mark.  They were led by BT Dominators with 179 points, followed by Legal Eagles with 161 points and Veterans Affairs with 159.  BT Dominators have taken out the title by a margin of 101 points, with Environment Clean Green Runners and Veterans Affairs filling the minor placings.  The total points scored in run 6 was 3,396.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
The knockout final was worthy of the occasion, with the two heavyweights at the top of the table fighting out a close contest.  BT Dominators prevailed over Environment Clean Green Runners 179-150.  The third place match saw a more convincing win for Legal Eagles, who beat Telstra Tornados 161-73.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
Legal Eagles put in a barnstorming finish to top score on the day with 11 fast runs, ahead of Reserve Bank Magic Milers with 7 and Veterans Affairs with 6.  Legal Eagles had a convincing overall win to take out the trophy.

CC AMATIL MOST IMPROVED TEAM
This competition ranks each team’s improvement in three areas over the last two series – point score, team representation and fast runs. As this is an encouragement award for teams who would not otherwise figure in the prize-giving, teams who win one of the other competitions are excluded from winning it.

The Most Improved Team Trophy for series 91 was won by Environment Clean Green Runners, in a countback from Veterans Affairs.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
The points total was over 4,000 for the fifth run in a row, with 16 teams breaking the 100 points mark.  BT Dominators were way out in front with a massive score of 223, only 8 short of the maximum possible.  They were followed by Veterans Affairs with 183 points and Environment Clean Green Runners with 162.  BT Dominators retain the overall lead and will be tough to beat from here.  The total points scored in run 5 was 4,010.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
The semi-finals saw BT Dominators take on Legal Eagles and, while Legal Eagles scored a very respectable 148 points, they were well beaten by the rampant Dominators 223-148.  The other semi-final was a much closer affair, with both contenders scoring well, in which Environment Clean Green Runners edged Telstra Tornados 162-150.  The top two teams in the point score, BT Dominators and Environment Clean Green Runners, will now meet in the final, while Legal Eagles and Telstra Tornados will play off for third place.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
Legal Eagles had the best score of 9 fast runs, closely followed by Reserve Bank Magic Milers with 8, while Veterans Affairs had the third best score of 6.  Legal Eagles cannot be beaten at this stage.

Conditions were again excellent for running, with the rain staying away for the duration of the run, and 21 teams broke the 100 points mark with six of those beating 150 points.  Environment Clean Green Runners again led the way with 182 points, followed by Legal Eagles with 168 and BT Dominators with 164.  BT Dominators retain the overall lead, although Environment Clean Green Runners gained ground and the competition now looks to be between these two.  The total points scored in run 4 was 4,137.

Legal Eagles again had a commanding best score of 10 fast runs, ahead of NRMA Insurance with 7 and Reserve Bank Magic Milers with 6, and look to have established a decisive break on the field.

Superb conditions again saw plenty of point scoring, with 21 teams breaking the 100 points mark and eight of those beating 150 points.  Environment Clean Green Runners led the way with 177 points, followed closely by Mercernaries with 170 and BT Dominators with 165.  BT Dominators retain the overall lead, while Environment Clean Green Runners leapfrog Apra Running Regulators into second place.  The total points scored in run 3 was 4,407.

There were a couple of close and high scoring matches at the top end of the draw.  Reserve Bank Magic Milers beat NRMA Insurance 162-145, while BT Dominators edged State Treasury 165-158.  In another round where every match was won by a team scoring over 100 points, the lowest scoring winners were Macquarie Nomads, who beat a depleted Westpac Harriers 123-32.

Congratulations to ASX All Ordinaries, who recovered from a very slow start to the series to post the only full turnout of 15 runners.  They were followed by Legal Eagles and Reserve Bank Magic Milers with 14 runners each.  BT Dominators retain the overall lead.  The total turnout was 463 counting runners, 368 males and 95 females.

GENERAL BUSINESS
Congratulations to Greg Rowling of State Audit, who became the 43rd person to complete 300 runs.  Greg is one of the ‘originals’ who took part in series 1 and is still competing.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
Cooler conditions again (some might say ‘cold’) saw another huge point score, with 28 teams reaching the 100 points mark.  Apra Running Regulators top scored with a massive 193, just ahead of BT Dominators with 189 and MBA Yield Chasers with 179.  The total points scored in run 2 was 4,839.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
The marquee match in round 2 saw the two RBA teams come up against each other, and it turned out to be a real nail-biter with the Magic Milers edging the Midday Milers 108-105.  ABS Moving Averages were the highest scoring team to lose, going down 154-132 to Environment Clean Green Runners.  In a round where every match was won by a team scoring over 100 points, the lowest scoring winners were PWC Fasttrack, who beat APRA Standard Setters 103-79.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
NRMA Insurance top scored in run 2 with 10 fast runs, just ahead of Legal Eagles with 9.  Veterans Affairs were next best with 6.

Matt GIBSON of Reserve Bank Magic Milers and Andrew LEE of Veterans Affairs shared fastest man honours with 21:20, while Lucy TERRELL of QBE Risky Runners was fastest woman with 26.35.  There were 88 fast runners in run 2, 69 males (19%) and 19 females (19%).

GENERAL BUSINESS
Series 91 sees the return of QBE Risky Runners and Allianz Experience, who both dropped out for series 90, and we also welcome new team Transport Rolling Stock to the competition.

Congratulations to Robert Norman of ABS Moving Averages, who completed his 450th run.  Robert has been running in the Corporate Cup since series 9, way back in 1991.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
Cooler conditions saw an explosion of point scoring.  No less than 20 of the 44 teams reached the 100 points mark, with the top score coming from BT Dominators with a huge 182.  They were closely followed by Environment Clean Green Runners with 176 points and Apra Running Regulators with 166.  The total points scored in run 1 was 4,028.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
A couple of teams had the misfortune to score 100 points and still lose in the knockout section, with BNP Flyers going down 165-107 to Commonwealth Bank Harriers 1 and GrainCorp Weevils losing 138-100 against ABS Moving Averages.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
Legal Eagles and NRMA Insurance share the early lead with 8 fast runs apiece, closely followed by Reserve Bank Magic Milers with 7.

GENERAL BUSINESS
Congratulations to our most senior runner, Dennis JOLLIFFE of ABS Moving Averages, who notched the fantastic milestone of 450 runs in run 6.  Dennis is only the fourth runner to reach this mark.

The presentation for series 90 will be held in the Domain on Wednesday 2nd May at 12:30pm.  Team Captains with trophies from last series should arrange handing back of the trophies for engraving and presentation to the series 90 winners.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
With something like autumn conditions finally arriving, the scoring did not really reflect this and remained at moderate levels in run 6.  Only seven teams reached the 100 point mark, led by Westpac Trotters with 163 points.  They were followed by ANZ Invincibles with 161 points and Planning & Environment Plodders with 120.  Westpac Trotters sneaked past NRMA Insurance to win the trophy by 19 points, while ANZ Invincibles raced up from 6th to take an unlikely second place.  The total points scored in run 6 was 3,150.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
It was a very tight finish to the knockout, with MYOB Stings edging Suncorp 86-82 in the final.  There was also a close match for third place, with BT Warriors beating Reserve Bank Magic Milers 80-75.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
NRMA Insurance put in a series best effort of 10 in the fast teams in run 6, but it wasn’t enough to catch Legal Eagles, who scored 9 and took out the trophy.

Dima POSTNIKOV of BT Dominators was the fastest man with 22.05 and Cathy LIU of Reserve Bank Magic Milers was fastest woman with 22.50, trimming 5 seconds from her PB and a remarkable 4.20 ahead of the next fastest woman.  There were 81 fast runners in run 6, 64 males (19%) and 17 females (19%).

The two Reserve Bank teams had the best turnout in run 6 with 14 runners each.  They were followed by BT Dominators and Commonwealth Bank Harriers 1 with 13.  BT Dominators took out the overall competition, retaining their title from series 89, with 82 runs out of a possible 90.  The total turnout in run 6 was 426 counting runners, 337 males and 89 females.

The Garry Gould Memorial Trophy for the top point scorer in series 90 was won by Hitoshi SONOBE of Suncorp who scored 135 points.

RON COOMBS MEMORIAL TROPHY
The Ron Coombs Memorial Trophy for the top point scorer of the opposite sex to the winner of the Garry Gould Memorial Trophy was won by Melissa COOPER of ASX All Ordinaries who scored 90 points.

CC AMATIL MOST IMPROVED TEAM
This competition ranks each team’s improvement in three areas over the last two series – point score, team representation and fast runs. As this is an encouragement award for teams who would not otherwise figure in the prize-giving, teams who win one of the other competitions are excluded from winning it.

The Most Improved Team Trophy for series 90 was won by BT Warriors.
