Series #96 – Run 4 – 1 July 2020 – Run No. 574
GENERAL BUSINESS
The Corporate Cup was finally back in the Domain after a four month hiatus, the longest time between runs in a series in our history. Sydney turned on a picture perfect day for it, and those who were able to make it enjoyed superb conditions. The course remains unchanged from the first three runs of the series, using the middle path above Farm Cove in both directions, and circling the waterfront apartment blocks at Woolloomooloo. (There was some confusion in run 4 with a small section of fence at the entrance to the middle path, leading some runners to go down the traditional route to Farm Cove. Hopefully this will be gone by next run.)
SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
The great conditions meant that those teams who were able to get good numbers out mustered some good scores. Four teams reached the 100 points mark, led by State Treasury with a very impressive 180 points. They were followed by Legal Eagles with 117 and Reserve Bank Midday Milers with 106. State Treasury have now got a jump on the field and will be hard to catch from here. The total points scored in run 4 was 1,619.

The bottom half of the draw was rather COVID-affected, with JPM Jets beating GrainCorp Weevils 48-2 and Westpac Trotters beating MYOB Stings 99-2.
